Early childhood educators can go to the Early Childhood Resource Hub for professionally developed resources, discussions and information aligned to the National Quality Framework. The website brings together content from a range of sources in a single, easy-to-navigate portal.
The Hub was commissioned by the Australian Government Department of Education and Training. Its goals are:
The site continues to be updated with new and curated resources including resources to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander educators and to build cultural competencies in all early childhood services.
Education Services Australia developed both the educational and technical solutions for the Hub.
Education
ESA managed curation and development of new content for the website, in consultation with states and territories via the Early Childhood Policy Working Group and with advice from an expert steering group. ESA engaged subject matter experts to work with the technical team to develop new resources, and to select existing ones and align them to the National Quality Framework.
Technology
ESA built the website using the Sitefinity content management system. ESA created templates to enable ready updating of content and images to maintain website content and functionality. The website is designed to enable content managers to update and refresh the site with new content.
ESA can deliver educational and technical solutions for your project. Email us at enquiries@esa.edu.au for more information.
